Plugins and connectors
A plugin adds one thing to your workspace. Document Generation makes quotations, purchase orders and statements from your own records (see Documents). Network International / N-Genius connects card payments. A connector is a larger module: Transportation Management has its own area in the sidebar, and Procurement adds a group of its own to the Accounting sidebar, beside Sales and Purchases.
Adding one records nothing in your books by itself.
Free, paid or on request
AccountHouse decides how each listing is offered, and the card shows it:
- Free — press Add plugin (or Add connector) and it is added.
- A price or a plan — the listing shows its Plans. Choose one and press Add plugin. The plan's price is recorded for your company when it is added, and a later change to the price list does not change it. AccountHouse bills it; nothing is charged to a card here.
- On request — press Request access, optionally with a plan and a message. The card shows Requested until AccountHouse answers. The answer appears on the listing: once it is approved, Add plugin appears, with the terms AccountHouse agreed for you. If it is declined, the reason is shown and you can ask again.
AccountHouse can also switch a listing on for your company directly, add it for you, or show you one that is not listed for everybody. Its terms then appear on the listing.
Find a plugin
- Open Marketplace in the sidebar.
- Choose Plugins or Connectors.
- Narrow the list by category, for example Payments or Documents.
- Open a card to read About, Plans, What you need and What it may do in your workspace.
Add a plugin
- On the plugin's page, check you have everything under What you need.
- If it has plans, choose one.
- Press Add plugin (Add connector for a connector).
- A plugin that connects to an outside service, such as N-Genius, opens its page under Banking › Integrations, where you connect it. Document Generation needs no connection: Documents and Document History appear in the sidebar, and Documents opens. A connector opens its own screens.
Paused or withdrawn by AccountHouse
Paused by AccountHouse means the plugin is switched off for your company, for example while a renewal is sorted out. Nothing new is recorded and nothing is deleted. You cannot switch it back on yourself, and removing it and adding it again does not either; the listing shows AccountHouse's message and a link to the Support Center.
Withdrawn by AccountHouse means it is paused and cannot be added to your company again until AccountHouse restores it, even if it is free for others. Everything it recorded stays in your books.
Remove a plugin
Remove a connected plugin from its own page under Banking › Integrations, with Remove plugin. Its stored credentials are deleted. Everything it already recorded stays in your books, because those are real entries. Adding it again later starts from entering the credentials, on the terms the listing then offers.
Remove Document Generation from Settings at the foot of Documents, with Remove Document Generation. Documents and Document History leave the sidebar. Every quotation, purchase order and statement already made is kept, and comes back when the plugin is added again; draft invoices and bills made from them stay in Invoices and Bills.
A listing another one depends on cannot be removed or turned off while that one is added: Document Generation stays while Procurement is added, and the refusal says to remove Procurement first. Removing Procurement keeps everything it made — its orders, delivery orders and stock come back when it is added again — and every invoice, bill, receipt and cheque stays in Accounting.
