What Agency is for
Agency is for accounting agencies and freelance accountants. Your agency is a company in Accmerio, with its own books in Accounting. Each client is a company of its own too, with its own chart of accounts, financial year, VAT set-up and ledger. Agency adds the list of clients you work for, and the means to set a new one up yourself.
It is offered on request. The Owner or an Administrator opens Agency in the Marketplace (under Connectors) and asks for it; once AccountHouse switches it on, it is added. An Agency area then appears in the switcher at the top of the sidebar, with Dashboard, Clients, Deadlines, Team and Agency setup.
The dashboard
| What you see | What it means |
|---|---|
| Client companies | How many of the agency's places are used, out of the number AccountHouse allows (5 unless agreed otherwise). |
| VAT-registered clients | How many of them are registered for VAT. |
| Agency team | How many people have access to the agency's company. |
| Clients you can open | The clients where you have access to the books. |
| Coming up | The next five deadlines in those clients, overdue first. All deadlines opens Agency › Deadlines. |
| Clients | Each client with its entity type, emirate, how it files VAT and what you do for it. Open switches to that company. |
| What you do for them | How many clients are ticked for each service. |
What reaches the books
Nothing. The Agency area posts no entry, in your books or a client's. Coming up and Deadlines read what is due in the clients where you have access to the books, as far as that access lets you read; everything else about a client is on its own dashboard, after you open it.
