What is listed
Each row is one entry Retail sent to your ledger: a day of one till's sales, a goods receipt, a stock adjustment, or a till's cash. A card settlement and its reversal, and a refund owed that was paid, are rows too, and so is store credit corrected by hand where your edition has customers. A posted row carries its journal entry number, which opens the entry in Journals.
A row that failed says why in words: a locked period, an account that is not chosen. Nothing was lost. The sale, the receipt or the adjustment it came from happened and is recorded; only its entry is waiting.
Sending an entry again
- Fix what the reason names: unlock the period, or choose the account under Retail setup › Accounts.
- Press Try again on the row.
- If the entry's own date falls in a period that stays closed, enter another date to post it on.
Stock against the ledger
The panel shows the value of stock on hand beside the Retail inventory account. They are equal when every Retail entry has posted. A difference is entries still waiting, or something posted to that account from outside Retail.
