Reading the chart
Accounts are grouped by type — Assets, Liabilities, Equity, Income, Expenses — with each account's code, name, category and balance. Open an account to see its general ledger.
Search above the chart finds an account by part of its code, its name, its role (vat input, accounts payable) or its balance; it says how many match. While searching, the arrows that arrange a section are hidden, because they move an account past its neighbours in the whole section. Searching covers active accounts; press Show inactive to search archived ones too.

Adding Transportation adds accounts of its own; which ones it posts to is chosen under Settings › Transportation.
Add an account
- Press New account (or choose Create account in any account picker).
- Enter a Code in the right range (for example 6350) and a Name.
- Choose the Type. It cannot be changed later, so last year's reports keep their meaning.
- Choose the Category — for an asset, Current asset, Fixed asset or Contra asset; for an expense, Cost of sales, Operating expense or Tax; and so on. Choose Other… only for a category the list does not have.
- Add a Description of what the account is for, and press Create account.
Arrange, archive and restore
- The up and down arrows reorder accounts within their type; the order carries into pickers.
- Remove archives an account: it leaves new-entry lists, and its journals, balance, audit history and ledger are all kept. Control accounts and accounts the product relies on cannot be removed.
- Show inactive lists archived accounts; Restore brings one back.
- An account Transportation posts to can be archived like any other. Settings › Transportation then marks it Archived — choose another, and Transportation posts nothing into it until another is chosen: a cost or a charge to a driver that would post there is recorded and waits.
